Every bar on West Street is very loud and plays exactly the same Chinese-style disco music spurned out by the conveyor belt of DJs.
What are the prices like on West Street?
The prices for drinks on West Street, Yangshuo are fucking horrendous. Expect to pay almost $10 for a Tsingtao – yes that’s right, the same shit they sell for 50 cents in the shops. As for cocktails or spirits: pointless to even mention.
What kind of entertainment do they have in the bars in West Street?
Sexy girls dancing on tables, which in fairness isn’t the worst thing about the place, but they all really look like they’d rather be anywhere else on the planet.
Who is drinking in the bars on West Street, Yangshuo?
The kind of person that likes to show off his money, stack twelve cold Budweisers on the table and let them get slowly warm, and spend most of the night looking at his phone. Otherwise known as a ‘tosser’.
Should I visit one of the myriad bars on West Street, Yangshuo?
If you like gently warming Bud, inflated prices and being a total douchebag, absolutely! Otherwise no.
Are there alternatives to West Street, Yangshuo?
Off of one of the main streets is a bar called Bad Panda, which is a bit quieter and at least won’t require you taking out a second mortgage to be able to afford your bill.
